At the 11th edition of the Festival of Life and Death Traditions, Xcaret Park brings together the traditions of the Yucatan Peninsula with the participation of the state of Puebla, to enrich the event with customs and culture of different regions of the country.
During the festival honors the souls, the emblematic moment it is passed from life to death is celebrated, the belief that the souls of the dead return during these days and live with them in a meeting represented that year with year you have with loved ones who went ahead on the road. To all of them they made his farewell, with lit candles which will lighten his return to the beyond, until We have not put the altar with offerings (Bix Hanal Pixán).
